Grid Architecture is a consortium of engineers, financial experts, and project developers specializing in power distribution, renewable energy integration, and energy project financing. We design, build, and operate networks that bring reliable electricity to communities in Zimbabwe.
- How will your projects benefit local communities?
Our focus is on connecting underserved communities to affordable and reliable electricity. For example, in Caledonia Township we aim to power over 28,000 households, improving quality of life, supporting small businesses, and enabling economic growth.
- Are you only distributing electricity from ZETDC?
Initially, yes. We will tap into bulk supply from ZETDC and distribute it at the household level. However, our long-term plan includes building our own solar power plant to supply renewable energy and reduce the effects of load shedding.
- How do you ensure project sustainability and investor confidence?
We conduct detailed financial modeling and risk analysis to secure cost-reflective tariffs, while seeking government support for market and currency risk mitigation. This creates a safe environment for long-term investments and community development.
